This fully demonstrates the international appeal and influence of the CIIE, and the successful inaugural event garnered significant international attention. The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), with a total floor area of nearly 1.5 million square meters, is currently the world's largest single building and exhibition complex. It consists of four parts: exhibition halls, a commercial center, office buildings, and a hotel, all connected by an 8-meter-high exhibition avenue, allowing for convenient traversal.

The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) boasts an exhibition area of 500,000 square meters, comprising 400,000 square meters of indoor exhibition halls and 100,000 square meters of outdoor exhibition space. The indoor exhibition halls consist of 13 large halls, each measuring 30,000 square meters, and three smaller halls, each measuring 10,000 square meters. Trucks can reach the halls directly. Each hall is surrounded by ample conference facilities, comprising over 60 meeting rooms of varying sizes.

The National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) is located in the heart of Shanghai's Hongqiao Business District, just 1.5 kilometers from the Hongqiao Transportation Hub.
