The finals of the Baidu Smart Cloud (Ningbo) Cloud Intelligence Base Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held.

On September 12th, the 2020 Baidu Smart Cloud (Ningbo) Cloud Intelligence Base Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Finals and the Baidu Smart Cloud ABC Innovation Summit Forum were held in Ningbo. The 2020 Baidu Smart Cloud ABC Innovation Summit Forum, themed "Artificial Intelligence Empowering the Digital Economy," was also held that day, along with a ceremony to award the "Ningbo Big Data Industrial Park."

The competition was jointly guided by the China Electronics Society, the China-Europe Entrepreneurship Camp and Investment Camp, the Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, the Ningbo Municipal Big Data Bureau, the Ningbo Municipal Cyberspace Administration, and the Ningbo Free Trade Zone. It was hosted by Baidu Smart Cloud and organized by the Baidu Smart Cloud (Ningbo) Cloud Intelligence Base and Cloud Intelligence (Ningbo) Big Data Industry Operation Service Co., Ltd.

This competition focuses on the Internet of Things, big data, and artificial intelligence, selecting high-quality projects with strong innovation capabilities and promising industrialization prospects. By integrating talent, technology, capital, and market forces for innovation and entrepreneurship, the competition aims to propel the Baidu Smart Cloud (Ningbo) Cloud Intelligence Base into a key new economic innovation platform for Ningbo and the Yangtze River Delta.

Thirty projects, previously selected from regional competitions in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, showcased their strengths at this competition, answering questions and receiving comments from the judges. The expert jury comprehensively evaluated and scored all projects based on multiple factors, including industry prospects, business models, product competitiveness, operational performance, core teams, and project feasibility.

After a day of final evaluation and selection by the competition's expert judges, the top ten projects were announced. The "AI STAR" project received the Baidu Fusion Award; the "Litong Communication" project received the "Team Steed Award"; the "Portable Underwater Intelligent Vehicle" project received the Model Innovation Award; the "Fiber Optic Sensing, Intelligent Listening" project received the "Breaking News" Award; and the "Si Ling Robot" project received the Technical Innovation Award. Five projects, including "High-Precision Positioning Perception Network," "Future Map AI Risk Control Decision," "Precision Diagnosis Technology," "Curve Intelligence," and "Yulian Technology," were awarded the competition's top prizes. The conference concluded with an awards ceremony for the top 10 projects and an on-site signing ceremony for the outstanding projects. It is understood that some of the signed projects will be officially established at the Baidu Cloud Ningbo Big Data Industry Base.
